Highlight UX Overhaul: Unified Minting, Simplified Creation, and Enhanced Discovery
This week we released some big updates across the entire Highlight user experience:
- Redesigned mint pages that bring secondary marketplace listings into the main collection page
- A streamlined creation flow for Editions, making it faster and easier to create open editions, limited editions, or 1-of-1s from a single place
- Much better discovery on our homepage and a new Explore feed
Read on to learn more about these changes.
Unified mint pages
Our previous mint pages were separate from our secondary marketplace functionality. When primary sales for a collection would end, collectors had to navigate to a separate page to view available secondary listings. With our updated UI, everything is viewable from a single page.

As collections are pre-announced, become available for minting, and tokens then become available on secondary, our new collection pages update dynamically.
These changes apply to all types of collections (Series, Generative, and Editions) and sale types (free mints, fixed price, and English, Dutch or Ranked auctions.)
Simplified creation
This week we unveiled a new flow to create Editions that makes it much faster and easier to release an open edition, limited edition, or 1-of-1. Previously, we had separate creation flows for each of those edition types, which was sometimes overwhelming.
In our new Editions flow, we surface the features available for each of these collection types as needed, removing unnecessary steps and clutter. We also collapsed the flow into a single screen, whereas before it was broken into several steps.

This new process has all of our advanced features — contract reusability, traits, payment configurability, and more — just in a simpler, more streamlined flow.
Enhanced discovery
One of the major pain points we’ve heard from creators is the need for better visibility and discoverability of their projects. This week, we shipped a number of new algorithmic carousels and a redesigned Explore feed to make discovery even easier.

We now surface not just trending projects but trending artists and creators right on our homepage. All of our curated collections are easy to find from the Explore feed, as is a feed of New, Ending Soon, and Free collections. Expect lots of new ways to explore and discover what’s minting and trading on Highlight in the coming weeks.

Other improvements
Here’s what else we shipped this week:
- Various small fixes to our new referral rewards
- Updated layout for token detail pages
- Larger artwork for certain media file types
